Mario Kart DS - Online and Sooner Than Expected

The latest edition of EGM shows contains some new information on Mario Kart DS.

The lastest edition of EGM magazine featured a small article on Mario Kart DS. In the article, two exciting things are mentioned: "first to offer online multiplayer karting action" and "June 2005". The first phrase should not be read as "first online game". In the past, during the GDC, Nintendo confirmed that the Nintendo DS would go 'online' first with Animal Crossing, near the end of 2005. Whether EGM is right about the June releasedate is yet to be confirmed by Nintendo, but the possibility is still there...
