Mario Kart: Super Circuit is the childrens favorite game at Nickelodeons Kids Choice Awards...

Kids' Choice Awards (KCA) 2002 was bigger and messier than ever this year! Produced by Nickelodeon and hosted by Rosie O' Donnell , the extremely popular KCA is an annual show celebrating the best in music, film and television ... voted entirely by KIDS.

Kids from across the country got the opportunity to cast their vote in 20 different pop culture categories, including favorite female butt-kicker, favorite male singer, favorite sports team, and favorite video game. And the winner for favorite video game was none other than Game Boy Advance's Mario Kart: Super Circuit. The game was nominated with Harry Potter, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and Backyard Basketball.

Held on Saturday, April 20, in Santa Monica, Calif., hot talent, including Mandy Moore, Usher, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Pink, and many other celebrities who are kids at heart, joined the fun ... and slime!

Nintendo was also there backstage, providing VIP celebrities with video game play instruction and Game Boy Advance systems to take home with them and continue the Mario fun.
