System 3 Revives Classics

Classic Commodore 64 games on your Nintendo DS. Many old-skool gamers will be delighted to hear that System 3 is planning to release some classics.

According to our German colleagues at GameFront, the UK magazine Retro Gamer is planning to release various classic titles on the Nintendo DS. Currently, four titles are of interest: - Super Fruit Fall, an action puzzler set for a release during Q4 2006. - Impossible Mission, also an action puzzler which will also feature a new two-player co-op mode and new characters. - California Games, a sports collection which will feature Summer Games 1 and 2 to be unlocked, leading to more sporting pleasure. Set for a release in May 2007. - Last Ninja, the legendary action game, featuring Last Ninja 1, 2 and 3

  Um hum. Never actually heard of any of these before. Then again, I suppose I never was into the commodore 64. Let's hope they make a good job of it.

  I only can't remember playing Super Fruit Fall. I can remember not liking Last Ninja, but played both others extremely much.
