Two New Reviews
Zombie slashing and green fields await in these two new reviews.
In-house reviewer and competition-organiser Andrew Blanchard has been away for a few weeks and not without reason: poor Andrew was suffering from a bad back. Fortunately, every downside has its upside. For Andrew the unfortunate event provided him with some extra time to play games and write reviews, something we all still appreciate.
Even though his back was not cooperating, Andrew managed to hit a few tennisballs in the Game Boy Advance's Top Spin 2. Does the GBA version compete with the Nintendo DS version, or is it even better than that? Find out in the review of Top Spin 2.
Tennisballs were not the only thing Andrew hit. Zombie's on your back are not a nice thought, so Andrew grabbed a stick and started poking those zombies off in Resident Evil: Deadly Silence. Whether you've played the original PC version or not, find out whether this game is one for your DS collection in the review of Resident Evil: Deadly Silence.
Of course we all wish Andrew all the best with his back.

Great reviews Andrew, and get well soon! ;)
"Original PC version"... What the hell? It's a PlayStation game!
The original Resident Evil was set for the Playstation, PC and Sega Saturn. If I recall correctly, the PC version was slightly earlier than the PS. I can remember buying a Diamond Monster3D gfx-card just to see the changes in this game :) (and God, how I was scared to **** when that dog jumped through the window)
I realy hope they manage to get RE2 onto a DS cart.. I´d played the orginal RE1 much to often on PS1 and PC and there is a too good Gamecube-Remake.. so I realy dont have any interest in this PS1-Port, but I definatly like to have a Resident Evil DS. Either a new one or RE2, which I played through only 2 times and still would be interested in buying for my DS ;)
You're very wrong, Dennis. Check the game's info at GameFAQs or some similar site if you don't believe me. Damn, my respect for you just went down 15%... =|
Well.. it was originaly designed for PS1 and the PC-Version has all the little bad problems of a typically PS1-to-PC-Port and on top of that, the PC-Version already was the later released Director´s Cut-Version of the PS1 Resident Evil. Im not sure about the releasedates but remeber: We live in Europe.. it could be, that the PC version was released earlier here than the PS one, but if it has been that way, it surely wasnt like this in Japan. But my final comment on this topic: Who the f**k cares? ;)
I do because I'm right. =P
this game looked good on the GBA
