Maple Story Heading For DS?

According to The Electronic Times, the massive multiplayer online title Maple Story is heading for the Nintendo DS.

Korean news supplier The Electronic Times claims to have received word from developer Nexon on Maple Story heading for the Nintendo DS. According to the Koreans, David Lee (CEO at Nexon Japan) added that the company is "[..] interested in characteristics and strategy of contents of Nintendo and decided to develop games for it, and [..] agreed on a large part of the plan with Nintendo."

Whether or not Maple Story will become the Nintendo DS's first massive multiplayer online title or not, remains unknown for the moment.

  It's an OK game, but it gets old fast. It's like a platformer, but with other people running around stealing your monster kills. We can only pray they bring either some already made online games to DS or Wii, or a new MMORPG.

  Yeah I used to play this before I got WoW. It's a solid game and I'm tempted to play again just to see some old friends I talk to on MSN. It got old fast for me, but from what I understand there's ALOT more content out since I left. I'ma go tell my friends who still play it and are thinking of getting a DS

  People play Mapel Story because it's free. There is no story plot and goals to the game. Every single day players are just repeating the same thing they did yesterday. The game has much potential, but they didn't deliever any.

  Technically, I am not suprised. If this game does make it to the DS, it will make a great addition. Since Maple is easy to pick up and get an understanding, yet with the newest additions it adds alot of fun. If I recall most DS games are easy to pick up and play for instant fun. Thats pretty much what Maple Story is.
