New Super Mario Bros. Scans

This week's Famitsu scans reconfirms that there are at least 80 levels in the game, which was revealed in Nintendo Power a few weeks ago, and also walks us through all the power-ups revealed by Nintendo so far so be sure to check it out.

  Pen-size stylus (longer and easy grip) for one thing. Longer stylus means your hand won't block half of the screen when you are using it. Easy grip means you can hold it like a pen and write more "naturally".

  To yeahx: Yeah, taking one of those cheap mass produced pen and hallow out the ink portion inside. Use knive or scissor to open the tip of the pen wide enough for the tip of stylus to go through. Then put the stylus in the beginning portion of the pen and use some sort of stick, straw, or saw-off chopstick to fill in the rest. In another word, use the pen's body with stylus's tip. It works the best to use those BIC brand pen. Just pull off the tip and then stick in the stylus, everything's ready in 3 minutes.

  Ah yea...I love it whether it be just how much variation there is from enemies to locales or just the fact that we are getting an original Mario sidescroller after oh-so-many years. Hoorah.

  i recently got exicted for this game, when i first saw the first screen at e3, i was like WTF is with the big mario.. junk. but now its like WOW cant wait! =)

  Hurray! I really liked the one where you protect the flowers i think on the bottom screen while launching cannon balls at the bob-ombs that fall from the sky.. i spent countless amounts of hours on that game alone! i dunno why it posted twice... sorry Fixed! ^_^

  What exactly does that blue mushroom do? I couldn't quite figure it out from the screenshot. My one complaint so far with this game is that it seems like it's going to be too "linear" like the original Mario Bros game. Basically going from left to right in every single level, etc. I was hoping for a more Mario World type game where you need to back track and such. Well, I guess old school is good too :)
