• That's wonderful news on the first party compo prizes front, Andrew. On a personal note to you, thanks very much for the Alien Hominid prize — the postman delivered it an hour ago. The Hominid toy set is excellent! And the game is great too. Just put 20 mins into it on my DS and it seems ideal as a handheld game. Good stuff! Many thanks to you and everyone at DS-x2 and, of course, to Zoo Digital for the fantastic goodies. Keep up the good work with the site. :-)

• Just another interesting point (and I really don't want to go on about this). What is the official UK magazine giving away games wise? Nothing! That's right: no first, second, third or whatever party you want to mention, games. UPDATE: First Party Competition Prizes Secured! Keep Reading DS-x2 people.

• I was overdrawn and waiting to get paid tonight, awesome....

• Problem with getting first party titles for this, lies in the nature of DS-x2. I myself am from the Netherlands, which implies me dealing with Nintendo BeNeLux. However I always felt I was more like a hassle to them so the more-or-less only communication with Nitnendo BeNeLux is when there's a press event being organised. Nintendo UK (with their PR company CakeMedia) won't deal with me as I'm frmo the Netherlands. Nintendo of America won't deal with most European requests either and redirects me to BeNeLux. NoE is a step to high for most request and I don't really think we can just knock on their door asking for sponsorship. What we do (read: What Andrew does) is keeping close contact with third parties: Zoo Digital, THQ, Ubisoft, etc. Those companies are often willing to cooperate on promotional events such as competitions. Ubisoft even came to us asking whether we could do a King Kong give-away. "Well... sure, if you insist." was our reply with a smile. If anyone from NoE, NoA or NoJ reads this and feels they need to help out, feel free to contact us (we know you read this ;-))

• Metroid Prime Hunters!!! :P :P :P j/k :D.

Skitz, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
• Well, I get the general idea, but it would be nice to have a few first party games up for grabs every 5 months or so.

• I'm not complaining. Racing Gears Advance is pretty good and I won that! :) I'm probably one of few Americans that has the lovely European boxart for that too. lol. I think it's cool that they give the games away instead of keeping them for themselves or selling them.

Nintendude, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
• Firstly, may I point out that we are the only site that holds competitions and giveaways so frequently and this will be the 10th in four months not including the Alien Hominid t-shirt giveaway. Also if you don't like the games, don't enter but did you miss our Alien Hominid, Juka and Spongebob Contests where we not only gave away the game but also a GBA SP too. Competitions are all about promotion. We don't choose them we get offered them. Nintendo 'first party' titles don't need promoting, they sell anyway. Think about it, is there any Nintendo title you don't know about in the next few months.

• @ All the Folks at DS-X2 How come it's always a third-party game? Why not a Tetris DS competion, perhaps even a Metroid Prime Hunters one? These are the most popular, yet you always end up doing unpopular (and usually bad) games like "Chicken Little" and "The Chronicles of Narnia". I mean, I don't really get you guys, those competions would be a lot better if it was for first party (or at least) good games.

Ali/FireGalaxy DS-x2, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
• It's not a first party title.

Andrew, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
• super mario...even thogh it no out till summer it may be american.....maybe

sam999, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
• Yeah, but by the time the comp closed, you'd have 'em. :P

Skitz, 30-11--0001 at 00:00
• We haven't even got ours yet.
