North America to get New Super Mario Bros. First

Nintendo has revealed that New Super Mario Bros. will be released in Japan on May 25th, meaning North Americans will be first to get the game which comes out here on May 7th. Unfortunately there is still no European release date for the game yet, but we'll let you know as soon as it's announced.

  That rumour came from the same guy claiming the DS Lite will come May 5 -_-. The nice part of that story is the following: - Dutch guy claims to have seen a store's releaselist stating the DS Lite release on May 25. He notifies the same date as NSMB. - Guy alters the date to May 5; He claims he wasn't thinking straight (then what about the same day as NSMB?) So it's May 5... that's for The Netherlands, where the list came from, a national holiday (setting free of the Netherlands after WWII is celebrated on May 5). Basically we've got a Dutch guy claiming the DS Lite will be released in the Netherlands on a possibly the worst day to release a console (as many shops will be closed)... I'll believe that when I see it.
