Finally a real time comparison between the current model of the DS and the DS lite. Plus screens from the conference, Winning Eleven DS and more.
As you can see the main differences between the two is the size of the product and the type of screens put in both handhelds. I've also taken the liberty of uploading a number of other screens from the conference below. Enjoy.

I like the DS Lite, but it's too small for me. Since I'm planning on buying a DS anyway (My R button is broken), I should buy the "Onyx" DS .(regular size, not Lite)
The screen difference is amazing, I might get one.... But my DS still works so no need for the Lite yet. I've never seen any shots of FF III before, is it completely new, or is it a remake?
there is a chance that PS3 will not come out this year ye know, I read it somewhere. I need that navy DS more than oxygen! GO DS!!!

hmmm. i wonder about FF3. it looks like one of those apes is being attacked, but i don't see any party members moving. is it a distance attack, or do the party members stay stationary even while doing physical attacks?

Wow it's so sexay. Speccialy the navy one It looks freaking black in the first image of Hardware.and OMGWTFBBQ the graphics on FinalFantasy 3 in that screen looks fking awesome!

argh the screen differnce is amazing i wonder if it would make that much of a differnce in terms of how good a game looks... still not sure what that long antenna thingy is that is attached to the NDS cartridge

There is also DSL v SP comparisons. Basically, the DS Lite is thinner than the SP (closed up both of em)
