Update New shots have come in. The FCC website shows many documents (including a concept version of the manual) on the Nintendo DS Lite.

1) Ok, I have checked it. 2) I was joking... ;)
my theory is that this is one of the "shells". Before, nubytech or some 3rd party accesory developer reported getting a empty Lite shell from nintendo. This could be one of those, explaining the poor quality material and lack of power button.
Also, that might also explain why the person lucky enough to get this failed to even attempt to put in any games to test it out or a whole bunch of other crap that he could've done.

Power button is on the side (not shown) kinda like the GBA SP. Also, it may or may not be a flap on the GBA slot. Kinda hard to tell, but it looked to me like a white GBA cart inserted in just to make it look nicer. But it could go either way. Personally, I don't want a cover like that.

The real beauty will be the brighter screen, if it delivers a better experience then the current DS i'll be definity getting one, and im sure it'll look better than this is in black (has to happen)
Olpus, DS-X2 and Revo Europe are still friends, me and Dennis still talk on MSN ;). We just don't affiliate with each other because of personal interest.
Yes, i was joking. I see that DS-X2 now is more world-centered and Revo-Europe is still Europe-centered talking of news. However, I like both the sites.
Speaking of the Nintendo DS Lite, at first glance I preferred the old one, but with these new shots providing more "phisicity" to the console I think i like more this new version.
in my opinion it looks thick er than the old1. en1 else think this?

I dont like how the d-pad and the a,b,x,y are so close to the edge... i like the feeling the extra lip gives. i wouldnt get that full wrap feeling in my hands. but owell i'll wait on this until i actually have 1 in my hands to test.

New charge slot I see.
Of course there's a GBA slot its a DS, whadja expect? Christ, and it's more whiter than this, it's just the place the photo was tooken in it looks greyer.
Is it just me, or is there a flap on the GBA slot O_o? New charge slot means i can't use my UK GBA SP adapter, damn looks like i'll have to wait for the UK release of the Lite before i pick one up.
Another difference, i think the backing information is lasered on, instead of just being a little label. Thats good, my DS's one is already coming off.

These are bad shots. The final unit is pure white-ish. There is a cover on the GBA Slot as we all knew when detials were announced (dumbasses) to preserve the white-ish feel to it. And is the black thing on the back the power button or the stylus holder?
It loks nice i see that there is a gba slot too...but its not as white as i imagined.
No need to make it personal. I think it looks crappy.

how can people (and some websites) had doubts if the DS Lite would have or not a GBA slot? the DS Lite IS the normal DS, it have the same hardware, it just have a different design and a brightness control.
Yeah i believe that black thing on the back of the DS is the slot for the stylus :]
with pics, it looks the same size as the ds i need to hold it in my hands and test it
I'm so getting one :P...well...maybe I'm not. Seeing how I can never remove my pecious Hori screen protectors T_T(static holds really well). As for the power button I think it's either that little black dot above the X button...or something else. I it has to have one somewhere, maybe the start button? Who knows...
Where is the power button?
