Promising to big the biggest film this Christmas, and already touted for Oscar Glory, Peter Jacksons re-telling of the classic King Kong has also been released on every console format.
To celebrate the release of the game and the movie we've got together with those nice people at Universal Pictures to offer you the chance to win one of four goodie bags each containing:
To be in with a chance of winning yourself one you'll need to answer the following question:- A Copy of the Game (we've got 2 x DS and 2 x GBA titles to give away) - A Stuffed King Kong Toy - A Pair of King Kong Hands (click) - Exclusive Game Stickers - King Kong Silver Pens.
Of course, even this time we can enlighten you with a descriptive review of the King Kong game. Andrew played both the Nintendo DS version and Game Boy Advance version, and as always both reviews are available for you to read and help you decide which format you'd like to win.

Free anything = pwn guys. Hell even if the game sucks and you win, you still get to play through it and add it to your beaten lists like I would >_>.
lmao cowboy
It's good that your having competitions here at DS-x2, but what about some competitions like 'Win a copy of Mario Kart DS and Animal Crossing' instead of movie to video game conversions that can't hold a candle to the movies :-/
I don't understand you people complaining about Free Stuff... It Free Stuff for God's Sake no one is making you buy it. It's Free... Hell I win a Free Coke and Im happy and you people complain about a winning a Prize Package... Oh well to each his own...
@opium: Maybe because it's not so easy to persuade the big N to give free copies of those games for the contest as it is to persuade the others. @corrupt3dm3mory: That's a good point. I won a free Coke before and I was happy. And I just saw the movie. It was absotively posilutely fan-freakin-tastic!!! I encourage everyone who isn't scared of giant monkeys, dinosaurs, giant bugs, or any combination of the 3, to see it. Too bad the game isn't that good.
People do seem to be complaining about these competitions and they do take a great deal of work to organise. We could always just stop them. What does everyone thing? Is something for nothing really not worth it?
if it means winning something for free, im there just as long as it isnt bad ive joined every contest since the narnia one
i suppose as long as the prize is good in the reviews then the comoetition is worth while. like spongebobSqarepants (you gotta love that guy) the game is supposed to be pretty good. I would enter a competition if I knew the answer and if the prize was good
So given that I organize all the competitions. Who decides wether it is good?
The hands and the stuffed Kong would be great for the movies my cousin and I are making with my new video camera (about destroying KNEX cities and crushing the people). Stickers are great, and I can always use more pens. Wait, there's a game, too? Well... Gamestop Employee: We'll give you $2 for it. Me: You know what? Just take it.
well if it was sucky, id give it to ssomeone i dispise, but theres nobody that i dispise and has a ds
*cough* sell it without even opening it *cough* Oh darn it. Will US Gamestops buy European games?
Probably cause most DS games work on any DS. I've got a European game that works on my Kiwi DS
I did say 'it's good that your having competitions at DS-x2'. No disrespect meant, I'm sorry if you took it to mean I was completely ungrateful.
was the winner for the last contest ever anounced?
Don't think it was actually. :O
Not yet... Will be posted shortly. :)
We'll do them both tomorrow.
Not a resident on Earth?
I entered but the reviews made me laugh and cry. I'd hoped the gba one would be decent ;(
I already entered! Great contest!
Gotta love the hands :D
man, that is tough
I think you shoulden't have done a review of King Kong, but still I want to played the game. The GBA versions tonnes better, and is worth getting.
Wow great prizes. I look forward to the results :)
Wow! Awesome! But i can't enter the comp x(
Apparently the DS version Realy sucks its the pits , thats why I entered the comp for the GBA its tonnes better.
yea, u dont wanna waste a winning prize on 1/4 of crap i chose gba too, but there will be more ppl who will want gba, so itll be really hard to find out
i think it really depends on what you want, good gameplay, or good griphics. i mean, there are plenty of things that are good about the gba version, but why the hell would you want it. there are tonnes of new games coming out for both consoles. just wait for a competition for one of those
i kinda agree with caleb niether look or sound good
I agree with caleb to if you look at gamespot and ign reveiws you kind of get a look at what people mean about the games
