Mother 3 - The Story Continues

Rumours on Mother 3 (or: Earthbound for those who prefer the non-Japanese title) have been spread over the internet once more. This time coming from Itoi...

As many Nintendo fans might know, Shigesato Itoi was the producer of both Mother and Mother 2 on the NES. Now, Itoi's website features some rather riddling webcam footage.

However, the webcam also shows fish. And the case that Itoi has also been working on Shigesato Itoi's No. 1 Bass Fishing for the SNES and Nintendo 64, the question may rise what Itoi's intention is with the webcam described above. Is Itoi hinting at a possible Mother-game, a new version of Bass Fishing, maybe even a combination of the two, or is Itoi playing a joke on the rumour-hungry crowd?
