Come inside to see the first visuals of how you'll be fighting in ASH. And be prepared for extremely good graphics.

Wow! this is some amazing use of prerender graphics. Like i said before keep a eye on this one
Imho the prerendered graphic is ok, but i'm worried for the animations.
These are prerendered battle graphics, i can't wait to see the in game graphics ! hope it's not old 2d rpg's style (witch I like very much but when you look at these pictures you need some kind of impressive stuff...)
backgrounds could be static, animations pre-rendered. Let the code decide which animation to show at runtime. Doubt that it's fast enough though.
...So the whole screen is just a pre-rendered picture in these? Yup, gotta be. Not even the characters are made out of polygons, then...
sandswipe what are you talking about ALL PS2 games are jaggy :D damn this looks awesome, wow!
I have a sad feeling the animations will be ass. Hopefully it's fluid.
As an old school gamer, I don't really care about graphic, I just wondering how the battle style is and how the story unfolds.
Oh... my... god!!! That's awesome!!!
HOLY WOW! It's like a jaggy PS2 game!
And yes these are from the game, they are not from a video. Pretty impressive no?
I had my faith in Mistwalker, and looks like I betted on the winner again.
Yeh, they're pre-rendered. The "graphics" in game/battle is merely compromised of pre-rendered clips. You're a bit of a fool if you thought those were real time graphics on the DS.
@ darkling05 & capitanm1: You are BOTH right xD
nope, those are the graphics of gameplay. just wait and see.
*Faints* Too bad they're prendered but still kickass.
bloody hell, i didnt know the DS could handle them graphics.
holy shit, those look amazing!
Heh...Mistwalker wasn't kidding when they said that the pre-rendered graphics look great. Can't wait to see the game in motion. :)
