NDS DS WiFi Leaflet

A new leaflet turned up, explaining Nintendo's efforts on their WiFi quest.

Our Dutch colleagues from DS-Gamer have acquired a scan of a leaflet explaining some of the perils Nintendo has to work through in order to get you your Nintendo DS WiFi connection in order to beat us at Mario Kart DS in a few months time.

The leaflet can be found here.

  • Hmmm, I heard the word PC mentioned there, now if they are only alowing PC users to connect to Nintendo WiFi connection, then they are making a new barrier right there. Hopefully there will be no need to use a computer at all and all I will need to do is connect to my Router like I did with the PSP.

  • They said also that the only way to connect is through the USB port on a PC (dongle), retail and hot spots. I really hope they allow you to connect to third party peripherals like a router!!!!

  • "AC coming in 2006! :(" Correct me if I'm wrong, but they spelled the American version of program "programme", and isn't that European? This is probably a European packet. It's been confirmed that AC is coming in 2006 for Europe. ... And since this is a European site, you're probably European... so yeah, that sucks. Sorry man. :( Anyway, is anyone sure this packet is real? They mentioned Microsoft and Xbox. Is that allowed?

  • It's European, and real.
