NDS Japanese version of Phoenix Wright to offer full English option

Good news to all importers out there, the Japanese version of Phoenix Wright will offer a full English option and comes out earlier then any other release.

In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Famitsu, it was revealed that Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney or the Gyakuten Saiban remake for the Nintendo DS will offer an option to completely switch over everything in the game to English. This includes the full dialogue, logos, splash screens and anything else you see in it. And with the game coming out in Japan first this is a good sign for importers or for those who just wish to play the game before the release in North America or Europe. Phoenix Wright hits shelves on September 15 across Japan.

  • Still, it's nice to see this. Hopefully the future will bring more of this... Might draw more releasedates closer to each other.

  • Really? I thought it was coming out in October.... oh well, as dennis said, it's still nice to see, as it will probably encourage more developers to do it in the future.

  • hmm, considering the japanese don't like to speak english very much... id say this was designed for importers, unless somehow alot of westerners moved there, which still would not be a credible reason. but good news.
