ALL Ts?kin Hitofude GBA Bound

Does Chokkan Hitofude ring a bell? We'll give you a hint: think Polarium on the GameBoy Advance.

According to the latest edition of Famitsu magazine, Nintendo is working on two new titles: one GBA title, one Nintendo DS title. The GBA title is already known: Ts?kin Hitofude, a GameBoy Advance version of Polarium.

Set for a Japanese release on October 13, the GBA version will ditch the Challenge-mode and focus on the puzzles themselves. With 365 different puzzles (that's over 3 times the amount Polarium contained), new coloured panels and a Time-trial mode in which gamers get a random puzzle they should solve a.s.a.p., we expect the GBA version to be a direct hit.

  • MAybe you can play it with the stylus on the DS if the GBA and DS games are both inserted?

  • for time-trials: maybe, for the normal puzzles: who cares about the time it takes you to select all tiles? Just use the D-pad to navigate to your starting tile, press A to select and use the D-pad again to select all other tiles in one time. Press A again when you're finished and the tiles'll flip :)

  • Yeah, that'll work. I wonder if they'll have a bonus when you insert both the DS and GBA versions, like in WarioWare Touched and Twisted...
