ALL Ahead Games Mods

Ahead Games has launched their new website, providing modifications you'd might like to check out in more detail...

On Ahead Games' new website, the company offers high quality services for a variety of game systems including our GameBoy Advance and Nintendo DS. Services range from professional grade repair, system examinations and console modifications to specially designed accessories. Created by and for the gaming community, ABHQ promises excellence, reliability, and efficiency.

ABHQ offers a variety of system modifications. Consumers have the option of purchasing pre-modded units or sending in their own. Currently, there are a variety of services available to help you personalize your system and create a stylish, individualized console (or handheld of course)! Three of their most interesting mods include LED replacements, the GBAmplifier and the GBAccelerator.

The LED replacement are available on a variety of Nintendo products, including the Gamecube Console, Wavebird Controller, Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance. By replacing the default LED color of your choice, your can personalize your system. Several color choices are available. Mix and match, or use the same one in all your systems!

The second interesting mod is the GBAmplifier. With this modification, you still use the GBA's volume dial to control loudness, except now your GBA will get up to three times louder! The headphone port will work the same as always, but you can also choose to annoy the neighbours using this mod...

One of the most revolutionary system mods is the GBAccelerator, an innovative addition to handheld gaming for the GameBoy Advance. This amazing technology is an industry first and can only be found at ABHQ, developed internally and tested for stability and perfection. The chip allows the user to change the processing speed of the GameBoy Advance into four modes: normal, fast, ultra, and slow-motion. By utilizing this capability, several new and exciting possibilities can now be realized by gamers and coders alike.

Primarily, games can now be sped up to bypass slow, static areas - long text passages, movie and animation sequences already seen, and other such tediums. Specifically, this enhances RPG games by decreasing the amount of time lost to repetitive tasks and menu operations. Assign your commands quickly and speed up the battle to get more out of your gaming sessions!

Another advantage of the GBAccelerator is the improve on 3D gaming. Eliminate annoying instances of slow down with this excellent tool. By providing just a bit more processing power, intensive games can function fluidly without interruptions. Getting stick in a particularly difficult area? Can't make the turn in the race? Too many bullets on the screen? Slow it down! The GBAccelerator gives gamers the ability to navigate such troublesome levels.

Coders will also love the GBAccelerator, as code can be tested quickly and efficiently, decreasing development time. More complex and better looking 3D games and demos can now be created using the mod. GBAccelerator allows greater numbers of onscreen and fluid animations at once. ABHQ is dedicated to helping this community become more prominent and recognized, working to introduce new developers and projects from up and coming talent. Developers who can prove their skills can receive free GBAccelerator kits and/or installations. ABHQ is excited about this unique modification and is looking forward to new development projects!

Summarizing, Ahead Games has a range of system modifications that are looking interesting to say the least. We can't wait what the future will bring...

  • Actually, the GBAccelerator could be pretty nice. They've got a few videos up on their page showing Mario Kart Advance running in different speeds.
