NDS Pac'N Roll

Namco has officially re-announced Pac'N Roll for the Nintendo DS and threw in a small description and some screens. Update What's with only 5 images? We throw in another 12!

In Pac'N Roll, the inhabitants of Pac-World have been turned into spheres by the evil monster Golvis' Ghost Light. Pac-Man must roll his way through Ghost-Land, collecting pellets and confronting Ghosts to save his family and restore peace to Pac-Land. Introducing an innovative new control scheme, Pac'N Roll lets players control Pac-Man with the Nintendo DS stylus. Players can roll and dash around the environment as well as execute maneuvers such as hairpin turns, immediate stops and precision rolling with effortless strokes of the stylus.

"Pac'N Roll utilizes the unique capabilities of the Nintendo DS to introduce an innovative and intuitive new control scheme," said Yoshi Niki, Business Director with Namco. "Players are sure to enjoy Pac-Man's latest adventure, and delight at the ease and simplicity of controlling him throughout the game."

In his quest to save Pac-Land, Pac-Man will venture through stages such as Castle Pac, Gyro-Jungle and the Ghost House, while facing perilous hazards like moving floors, dash panels, jump zones and wind zones. Along the way, Pac-Man will find power-ups like the "Winged Chocolate," allowing him to fly through the worlds and jump over Ghosts, or the "Knight Chocolate," providing him with armor which grants him the power to crash through walls and withstand more damage. "Pac'N Roll" also includes the original Pac-Man arcade game, allowing up to two players to munch on pellets and claim the highest score.

 • I'm cool about it so long as they do something useful, heck I don't mind them all being square or triangle if they are fun.

 • I love this!!! when will this game be available?

 • cmon, those screenshots are enough. gba.n64europe.com is my source for all information for ds. Fuck Gamestop, and IGNs ok, but this has so much information on ds EVERY DAY that it beats the others put together, i dunno who runs this, but i suspect dennis, but they do a damn good job. And thanks for none of that censorshit bullshit. Love the site. And pacman looks pretty good.

 • and i thought europeans had a foul mouth, but it seems that they are the one one want censorship and have it sqeaky clean

 • now now... settle down. Don't have time to post the news and moderate the comments 24/7 too... ;) As for the "who runs this place": Originally, I did this place on my own, but lacked content (reviews). Then Andrew Blanchard came in who's doing a LOT of reviews. Every now and then there are a few people willingly to help out a bit by posting news (Shiggy, Terrace, Nintendist, Domstercool), but most of them left after a short while again. To be honest, I might be getting difficulties soon with the site: I've finished uni and it's time to get a decent job. If there aren't any other people that can take over the posting of the major newslines, I doubt whether gba.n64europe.com will still exist in 6 months time. :-/
