NDS Devil Kings DS

A new Capcom title for the DS, according to Game Informer's rumour mill.

According to the latest rumour mill section from Game Informer, Capcom is working on a new Nintendo DS title: Devil Kings. The rumour continues with the information that the game is currently being developed by the producers of Resident Evil 4 and will use DivX for video fragments.

  • Actually, it was a mistake by GameFront's source, it's two seperate rumours. One is about RE4 producers working on a game called Devil Kings and the other is about DS using DivX compression for DS movies with Disney/Pixar being the first to support it.

  • well, my story is based on GameFront's (as can be seen by the source). I can imagine that GameFront misunderstood the US mag... If jj984jj happens to have the issue, I'd love to hear the real story. :)

  • Well GameFront doesn't state their source, but the way they posted that news item I strongly believe they got that from the posts on the IGN, Gaming Age, and GameFAQs forums but left out the part about Disney/Pixar. I could be the wrong one, but strongly strongly believe that this is just a mix-up by GameFront.

  • GameFront <i>does</i> mention a source: the GI's rumour section. You could be right though. When I read about the DivX part, I remembered the rumour from a few weeks ago immediately too.
