THQ Aiming For 9 DS Titles

THQ spoke about their plans for the next-gen handhelds once more.

In a recent filing, THQ spoke about their plans for the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP. As the installed base of the Nintendo DS hardware grows, THQ expects to bring market-leading kids and family brands to the platform, including games based on Disney/Pixar's The Incredibles, Scooby-Doo, SpongeBob SquarePants and Tak. THQ expects to release nine titles for the Nintendo DS and five titles for the Sony PSP in fiscal 2006.

As for now, we know that THQ is working on a Scooby-Doo game, a SpongeBob game, a Tak game, one (or two) The Incredibles game and 'Cars'. Also, THQ already mentioned Zoo Tycoon in the past. The remaining titles? We don't know, but we intend to find out.

  Imagine if Mario made it to every one of those games. Play as Mario in The Incredibles...... it would improve it slightly.
