ALL Camelot Working On Mario Tennis Advance

In an interview with Best4Gamers, Camelot revealed its latest GBA project. Didn't we already suspect this?

In an interview with the french gaming-website Best4Gamers, Camelot has revealed a few minor points of interest. First of all, Camelot is indeed working on Mario Tennis Advance for the GBA. No doubt, the tennis game will show some kind of link-up with its bigger brother on the GameCube (Mario Power Tennis), just as the golf games could.

The second point of interest is Camelot developing for the Nintendo DS. Hold your horses, Camelot is NOT working on any Nintendo DS games yet (meaning NO Golden Sun DS... yet). Camelot does claim to have enough ideas to utilise the NDS's features, but simply lack the time to actually work on the platform. We're sure this will change in the future though.

Camelot also spoke about the Golden Sun saga. Camelot just loves the Golden Sun universe. However, they were not able to respond on the rumours of a possible new version currently in the works.

Camelot did mention that they would introduce a new game during the next E3 (May 2005). No platform or title was mentioned though. The game in question might be the previously mentioned Mario Tennis Advance, but might also be a whole new game for the GBA, GameCube or even the 'Revolution' or Nintendo DS (even though the chance on the last option would be pretty small due to Camelot not having any NDS projects currently in the works).

  • We know, and we reported it as well on numerous occassions. However, Camelot never actually admitted it was in the works at their studios, even though they've been developing the previous versions too.
