GBA Fire Emblem 2 Named

Nintendo has revealed the (US) sub-title for Fire Emblem 2...

In a press release about the success of the Nintendo DS in the United States (1.3 million units sold for those interested) and stressing out the strong line-up for the NDS, the GameCube and the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo revealed the full title of the second Fire Emblem game for the Game Boy Advance.

The second US (and most probably also European) Fire Emblem game, based on the third Japanese GBA Fire Emblem (Fire Emblem: Seima no K?seki), will be called Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.

Nintendo also stated that the Game Boy Advance continued its dominance by selling more than 8 million units in North America in 2004, making it the year's best-selling video game system. Key upcoming titles include WarioWare: Twisted!, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, Mario Party Advance, Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and Pokon Emerald from Nintendo, Ace Combat Advance and Klonoa 2 from Namco and Banjo Pilot from THQ. More than 125 games are expected this year for Game Boy Advance SP. Now who said the GBA was dead?
