Rumour: Metal Gear DS?

A dodgy looking press release, without a traceable source... Well, rumours about a Metal Gear DS are always nice...

According to the press release (written in Japanese), the DS version will be based on Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. No real details were given in the 'press-release', except for the view of the game: no 2D graphics, no 3D graphics but 2.5D.

Whether the release is genuine or not, for now we point this game to the 'rumours' section.

  Seems like just wishful thinking to me but it's a strange time to start circulating such a rumor. I'd also expect the visuals to be a little better than that.

  NSTC stands for Nintendo Software Technology Corporation. They are Nintendo of America's internal studios, responsible for Wave Race on the Cube and Ridge Racer on the N64, among other things. Moreover, why WOULD "NTSC" be on a handheld console, Dennis? It's a television standard, and the DS is certainly not a television!
