Midway supports NDS

In a webcast of Midway from the Credit Suisse First Boston 2004 Media and Telecom Week, we managed to get some info...

Midway didn't speak about supporting the next-gen handhelds (Nintendo DS and Sony PSP) up to now. However, David Zucker spoke about the handhelds that "both of these somewhat target for a more older gamer than (uhm..) the distinct handheld have traditionally targeted and that idea traditionally appeals Midway," and "we expect to have a number of handheld titles next year for both the Sony PSP and (uhm..) Nintendo DS".

Zucker did not mention any specific titles, but we think you may expect a Mortal Kombat title.

  The quote comes directly from a webcast (speech recorded and broadcasted over the internet). Zucker simply stopped talking and said 'uhm' at those points. It sounded like he was more PSP orientated than NDS, and I tried to capture that using his own 'words' ;)
