While no major revaluations will be revealed about the system during the current CES (which the Wii U has been shown behind closed doors at), there will be information leading up to E3 and as well as after E3. With information appearing throughout the year.
It is unknown if big hitters such as price point and release date will be shared before E3, however it is expected that key information be shared during the lead up period.

Nintendo's strategy seem to be rushing the next gen console out before its competitors, where as its competitors' strategy is sit back and watch what happens before they make their next move.
Not a bad strategy in today's world if you ask me. Wii got successful by having a unique selling point. They wouldn't have made it this far if they waited until Move and Kinect were released ;-)
