ETC Nintendo-x2.com launched!

Just before the end of 2011, we managed to launch a brand new version of the site. Goodbye DS-x2.com, hello Nintendo-x2.com!

On December 31, 2011 we have launched Nintendo-x2.com. With Nintendo-x2.com we say goodbye (for now) to DS-x2.com. In the future we will try to use the different domains, such as Wii-x2.com, 3DS-x2.com and DS-x2.com, to serve you just the content for that particular platform. However, for now we settle for all content on one domain: Nintendo-x2.com.

What's new?

The site you are looking at is totally different from the old one. We've completely rebuild the site from scratch, allowing us to tweak things a bit more and throw in a few new functionalities. For you, our most-respected visitors, this means you now get:

  • A brand new layout (of course)
  • Forum-integration: no longer you need two seperate accounts for the site and the forums. Just recover your current password through the forums or register a brand new account and start using it
  • A caroussel on the site, showing you a few of the highlight
  • Facet-search on the Games-overview: now you can filter on platform or genre and search at the same time.
  • A new screenshots-gallery (just head over to your favorite game)
  • Related article-links on gamepages and at news-articles

In the future we will try to add new functionality to the site, so every suggestion is welcome. Just use our contact forms to let us know about your ideas!

Re-register

In case you were already registered at DS-x2.com, we managed to transfer your account to the new Nintendo-x2.com. Unfortunately we were not able to recover your previous password, which is probably good as the cause for that is that we have encrypted your password in our database. In the end, we had to set a random password for every account. If you want to recover your account, simply try to reset your password using your previous username or emailaddress. In case of any problems, be sure to contact us through our contact forms.

  • *looks for bugs* like the links to login and register on this page not working :/

  • We can't edit comments? Mmm. To clarify I mean the ones in the comment section.

  • Not at the moment. Will put that one down on the backlog :) Link-problem is fixed by the way (at least: if you meant the links shown below the comments when you're not logged in already)
