New Layton Game Titled

While it didn't appear on yesterday's Official Release Schedule, Professor Layton is poised to return to the DS and it's likely to be before the end of 2011.

The game is actually a prequel to the Curious Village with the plot centered around how Layton paired up with his trusty (and enthusiastic) sidekick Luke. One of the bigger mysteries with the Layton games has always been the title with Japanese translations often differing greatly from the European release. Professor Layton and the Last Specter seems to be the most likely title but who knows what it will be when it reaches our shores.
