DS-x2.com asks: 3DS - The surprise announcement?
In a recent tweet, Jonathan Ross revealed that we're in for a few surprises this Wednesday at the official European 3DS event. What are your expectations or greatest wishes for Wednesday?
Don't know, since it's not their place to announce new hardware capability and software titles, Japan holds that right.
So I don't see what they can announce that would be considered as surprise besides from March 26 for EU release.
Going off of what was said in his first tweet, it sounds like we'll be hearing something about the Virtual Console on the 3DS as he mentioned retro classics coming back, or something very close to that. Survival Kids please :D. Which could also tie in with the Metroid rumours, meaning Metroid 2 would be available to download (let's hope they've updated it with a map as it's a nightmare to keep track of)
In response to "I have my fingers crossed for Metroid", Ross already stated "I think you’re going to be pleased then...". This might be one of two in my view: a new Metroid title for 3DS or a Smash Bros title.

Really? Can't remember any of those in Europe (nor US) to be honest. :/
Not really- they have been doing it for a few years not- as in for all regions.
Well, there's bound to be something. Otherwise, why would they set up the live streams like they do with E3? Normally, only NoJ does things like that.

Doubt that. They didn't do that with GBC, GBA, GBA SP, DS, DS Lite, DSi nor with DSi XL... Last time for a handheld was GameBoy Mono.

Not really- I know its going to be disappointing/not to have high hopes- especially from my region perceptive.
3DS release date etc. was going to be there anyway ;)
Pleased? It's not going to be Metroid then ;) IMO surprise is most likely Zelda for Western Launch.
