3DS 3DS Japanese Launch Trailer

After all the exciting announcements today, you're probably still eager to learn more about the 3DS. Well, here is the official Japanese launch trailer showing some of the games in action.

While we already knew about most of these there are a few surprises but get ready to see the following in full glorious motion.

  • Lucky you, those are the only two places that had 3DS. Not even PAX or Tokyo Game Show had it.

  • @LeSomeGuy: No, Gamescom (Köln, Germany). The 3DS was shown to press in the business area. Got to play around with a few demo's... great thing.

  • In reality, the only games that look bad in that lineup are Ridge Racer (which, lets be honest, has never been a flashy, good looking game), Steel Diver (it's a DS game being brought to the 3DS) and Samurai Warriors Chronicles (really bad frame rate from the video). Other than those, the games look great. Even Animal Crossing, which I've become to blase about after it's just stagnated, looks decent. And it's a decent lineup of games just from some of the Japanese companies making games. Plenty of good looking things coming from Western devs as well.

  • I can confirm that the graphics look WAY better in real life than in a movie such as this one. Pilotwings and Metal Gear Solid look pretty bad compared to the real thing...
