3DS Announcement Tomorrow

You've probably read a great deal of speculation, in the press, about just when the 3DS will be released, what games will accompany the launce and (most importantly) how much it will cost? We've already spent some time with the system and can confidently say that's it's everything we expected and more. In short, we can't wait to get our hands on one of the most exciting consoles released for years. Well, the wait is almost over and tomorrow, in Tokyo, we'll finally get to know the answer to all these questions so keep it here at DS-X2.com.

  200 is not enough to cover costs I'm afraid. While hardware isn't always the most profitable, they won't give in a lot either.

  Price is definitely $250, but I am guessing Nov 20 for Japan and early Dec for US while Europe getting the short end again with Feb 2011.

  Well, I'm going to stake my guestimate of the price being around the £159.99 mark here in the UK. What's that gonna convert to in euros, maybe 200? I think pushing it beyond the 200 mark in the UK and continental Europe could be slightly detrimental. I'd also guess that $200 will cover the US. With the recent price drops of the DSi XL, it looks like Nintendo are trying to free up some price ranges.

  My guesses (not based on any current rumours): November for Japan, February for US, March for Europe. Price at launch: 20.000 Yen, $249, €249 Anyone else want to take a guess? :-)

  It'll at least give us an idea of the pricing for Europe as I doubt we'll hear anything concrete from NoE in regards to when we'll get the 3DS. I may be wrong, and they could surprise us but I'm not holding my breath. One thing to note is that Capcom have two new games to announce tomorrow morning in Japan, right at the same time as this Nintendo event. New 3DS titles perhaps?
