3DS Dated
If, like us, you can't wait to get your hands on a 3DS then you were possibly a little disappointed that no price point or release date was announced at the recent E3. Well, the wait is over and while we don't have a confirmed price yet we do have a date.
By the end of March 2011 is the date to mark on you calendars according to Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime in an interview with Inductrygamers. He went on to say "Well, the reason we haven't announced a launch date or pricing is that, first, we wanted to get reaction here. Secondly, we'll be making individual market decisions in terms of what's happening in Japan, what's happening in the Americas, what's happening in Europe. The one thing, for sure, is that we will launch in all of our major markets by March 31, 2011,"
Hopefully we'll have the price soon but industry experts are putting it at slightly more expensive that the current DSi.

I think it's safe to assume that the 3DS will be out in at least Japan by the end of the year (December I'd say). US release is possible but I honestly don't think they'll force it if they don't think they'll have enough units or a good enough line up of games. Europe, as usual, will definitely be the last to get it. I wouldn't expect it to hit Europe until mid to late March.
I guess february 14th, same date as Final Fantasy Tactics and the launch of the GBA if I recall correctly.
My guesses are Dec 9th/10th 2010 for PAL Regions- and November for Japan and America.
And there are UK soruces which are rumbling of simular.
