ALL Nnooo Announces Spirit Hunters Inc for DSiWare and Plans for 3DS

Late last month Australian based developer Nnooo revealed next set of titles for the Nintendo DSiWare. This week Nnooo has revealed their plans to continue the newly announced series onto the 3DS platform.

The Australian based developer Nnooo has bold plans for Nintendo's download services. Nnooo has announced two brand new titles both within the same series. Spirit Hunters Inc: Shadow and Spirit Hunters Inc: Light, the games are augmented reality games in which the player works for a company called Spirit Hunters Inc, the specialise in detecting, capturing and then trading ghosts.

Spirit Hunters Inc. Is a Role Playing Game set in the real world, which players can use the DSi Camera to hunt out and battle spirits anywhere in the world. There are abilities which the players can use to battle the spirits which are from six different elements, those are Fire, Water, Ice, Shadow, Light and Fungus.

One of the games selling points which Nnooo hopes sets them apart is the fact players can create unique challenges for each other, then either trade them either locally, to Facebook or email.

Near the end of the year Nnooo expects to have released the titles for the Nintendo DSi on the DSiWare download service. Earlier this week Nick Watt from Nnooo was interviewed by Cronogenesis, because of the bold statement by Nick Watt in the press release "Spirit Hunters Inc. is planned for a late 2010 release on Nintendo DSiWare and future Nintendo portable devices".

Nick Watt issued the following statement which reveals the companies ambitions to release either the currently announced Light and Shadow titles or new entries in the series on the 3DS.

We are indeed planning on bringing Spirit Hunters Inc to the 3DS as well as the DSi. Our aim with Spirit Hunters Inc is to have two DSi versions and two 3DS versions with the 3DS ones making specific use of the new hardware as well as hopefully containing some new gameplay features too!

Nnooo currently has a micro site live for the title, but unfortunately it reveals nothing bar the logos for the two titles. You can check it out here.
