C.O.P. The Recruit Gameplay Trailer
One of the more exciting DS titles at this years E3 was Ubi Soft's C.O.P. The Recruit. The game was unveiled to the world with an impressive cinematic trailer but now, the developers have released a gameplay trailer and, here at DS-x2, can't wait until this one hits the streets.
You are Dan Miles, a former underground street racer and new recruit in the Criminal Overturn Program (C.O.P.). Under the terms of the C.O.P., you have become a street detective working to protect New York citizens against large-scale threats.
Working with your mentor, Detective Brad Winter, you are investigating a series of terrorist attacks in the city when Brad is falsely arrested, putting the investigation on hold. While trying to uncover the truth behind Brad's arrest, Dan goes undercover and returns to his life on the streets. Little by little he gets wrapped up in a deadly widespread conspiracy and must work to prevent an attack on the city with catastrophic potential.

Very impressed with the graphics in this. I don't think many people would have envisioned this kind of game a few years ago on the DS so all credit to Ubisoft for getting this out of the DS. Out in a few weeks (apparently the 30th of October is the EU release date) so I'll be keeping an eye on it.
I can onfirm this is an A++ title. I got my hands on it back at Gamescom, and even the demo was awesome enough for me already. Only the controls were a little awkward as they appear to change between rotate and strafe depending on your status (had a little problem there myself, but I can imagine you'll get used to that after a brief time of playing)
Seems like it's going to be all of us playing this one on release then. I just can't believe that developers have managed to push the DS hardware this far. So many game engines in one cart.
It's the upgraded VRally 3 engine...
