Pokémon HeartGold & SoulSilver confirmed

Nintendo of Europe and America have confirmed the upcoming release of Pokon HeartGold and SoulSilver for Nintendo DS.

Attention Pokon fans! The newest games in the Pokon RPG Series have been announced! In front of the world's best Pokon video game and Trading Card Game players at the Pokon World Championships, it was revealed that Pokon HeartGold Version and Pokon SoulSilver Version will be available for the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi systems in spring 2010 in the United States and Europe.

It's been nearly a decade since Pokon fans first traveled to the scenic Johto region. With Pokon HeartGold Version and Pokon SoulSilver Version, they can return there to experience the exciting adventure of Pokon Gold and Pokon Silver on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DSi systems. Expect updated graphics and sound, as well as awesome new touch-screen features and lots of surprises! Pokon HeartGold Version and Pokon SoulSilver Version bring dozens of Pokon characters, such as starters Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile, back into the limelight for a new group of Pokon fans--and long-time Trainers--to catch, train and battle! Look forward to hearing many new details about Pokon HeartGold Version and Pokon SoulSilver Version in the coming months!

  Looking forward to this, even if we will have to wait until may 2010 as it seems like it's going to follow the same formula as Platinum's release. Remember playing Gold all those years ago and going so deep into it. Definitely the pinnacle of the Pokemon series.

  I had Silver. Ho-oh didn't really mean much to me then. Would be nice to use this one and finally be able to get that part of the Dex complete as well. One thing that still bugs me though, is the sound in the Pokemon games. For the Game Boy and Game Boy Advance versions, I can understand the sounds were all beeps and screeches. With nowadays' capacity and processing power, at least give me the Pokemon calls as they should (Meowth saying "Meowth", Pikachu saying "Pika...chu")
