ALL E3 Live Report

E3 is upon us (just over a week to go), and of course we'll be around to fetch you all the new announcements and gossip. This year, we'll try to cover the Nintendo Conference little bit different but we need your help first...

The E3 Expo The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry. It is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.

Every year, the three main players in the gaming scene (Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft) hold a special conference informing us of many new games and sometimes even hardware. Last year for example, we got to see the new Wii Motion Plus in action and a demo of Wii Music. In 2007 we got the Wii Zapper, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Mario Kart Wii and Wii Fit (including the Balance Board). Who knows what 2009 will bring us. As far as we've heard (both official and unofficial), it's going to be BIG...

E3 2009 coverage DS-x2.com will be around to bring you all the news from the showfloor, so be sure to stick around between June 2 and 4 and visit DS-x2.com more than once a day. History has taught us that the amounts of articles posted within these 3 days usually surpass the 100.

On the first day, June 2nd, Nintendo will hold its E3 Media Briefing at 9:00 AM PDT (look up your local time here). Usually, that's when Nintendo spills the beans about major new products coming up for Wii and Nintendo DS. That's the time you'd want to be around DS-x2.com and follow the event almost realtime.

DS-x2.com is planning to bring you a live report of the event through the use of CoverIt Live, a small application which allows us to 'chat' with our visitors. As we want to be 100% sure everything will be working A-OK, we'll be test-driving the CoverIt Live application this Sunday.

CoverIt Live This Sunday at 19:00 CET (again: look up your local time here), we'll be test-driving the CoverIt Live application. All of you are invited for a brief test in which you get to ask questions about us, our expectations on the upcoming E3 event or just tell us how (un)happy you are with DS-x2.com in its current form.

We'd like to talk to you this Sunday.

  • Nice idea this. Will mean that any and all info given across the conference and the rest of the show days should be broadcast quickly. I'll be watching the show live, just need to sort out my stream for it so if, and will be watching many of the other shows so if you need help with news through this, I can take a step back from the reviewing for the duration of the show and lend a hand.

  • Help is always welcome. Don't think you've got access to the staff boards yet, so please PM me at the forums...
