WII Two New Reviews

As you probably know we've been a little overwhelmed, the past few days, with server problems but that hasn't stopped us reviewing games. Here's Chris with two Wii titles he's given the once over.

The first is a game fronted by none other than Steven Spielberg and Boom Blox has appeared on a number of different formats. Clearly, there was considerable press coverage regarding this title and, at the time of writing, a sequel has been 'green lit' so surely this one is a quality title? You can discover what we thought with our review of Boom Blox for the Wii.

Chrysler Classic Racing hopes to tap into the lucrative Wii racing collection but is it simply just another non starter? Chris gave it a full test drive in his review of Chrysler Classic Racing for the Wii.

  • Was a pleasure reviewing Boom Blox. Initially, it didn't sit well with me but the more you play, the more enjoyable it becomes. Wasn't really paying attention to the forthcoming sequel but after playing, it's definitely something I have my eye on now.

  • For some reason, I could foresee the two scores without looking at the reviews first... :/

  • Is that a bad thing? :P Not to rag on Zoo Digital, because I do think that they're helping getting small developers' titles to market, but perhaps they should up the quality control on the titles they publish or think about releasing the likes of Chrysler Classic Racing as a WiiWare title, where it's be slightly more acceptable than as a retail release.

  • It's not a bad thing in my opinion. Where Boom Blox strikes as an original title, Chrysler Racing reminded me of so much more average racers. Zoo (or nowadays: Zushi) has a lot of good titles, such as Order Up, so you won't hear me complaining about them :)
