ALL Major New Nintendo title this Christmas

Gamestop boss, Dan DeMatteo, has revealed to CNBC that Nintendo has asked him to allocate shelf space this Christmas - for a major new 'key property'

He goes on to say:

'We think there will be a Nintendo key property coming out by the end of the year. They haven't given us any insight, but they have told us to reserve [shelf] space.'

Clearly this kind of news starts all sorts of rumors and current favorites range from a new Zelda game to a new Super Mario Brothers game for the Wii. What do you think it will be?

  • The Nintendo Rep which Vook is in contact with was disappointed he wasn't going to E3. So there might be something at E3?

  • I am currently focused on MadWorld, Conduit, Oboro Muramasa, and Arc Rise Fantasia. I haven't heard anything about winter release.

  • Well it could be as simple as Zelda: Spirit Tracks which is supposed to be out at the end of the year and that's a major Nintendo title. If it's not that, it could well be the likes of Pikmin 3 or one of the titles shown at the October conference. Sin and Punishment 2 is supposed to be out this year and that's a big title.

  • As long as it isnt "Nintendogs Wii" or something like that ;) Nintendo should anounce something big for the core gamers soon.. im starting to feel like in the years of the N64 with my Wii :(

  • I don't want it to be Metroid or Mario. Nintendogs Wii is long due- as long as its Nintenpets that would be better. And I want the same promotional puppy dogs again which NAL sent out because mines broken :/ Pikmin 3 is possible (rumors go back years for that)- the new Zelda is the the most possible title.
