Pikmin and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat to be Re-Released for Wii
Pikmin and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, previously GameCube titles, will be re-released for Wii.
Nintendo have announced that Gamecube titles like Pikmin and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat will be re-released on Wii. These titles will be part of the 'œGames You Can Play on Wii Selection'? group which Nintendo have announced.
It is unknown if WiiMote and Nunchuk use will be added to these titles though it is expected.

I doubt they wouldn't add Wii Remote support, otherwise they'd lose quite a lot of potential buyers. GameCube owners who already got the game won't buy it again (after all, they can already play it), while potential new customers are likely not to own a GameCube controller. Both games can be played with the Wii Remote + Nunchuk combo...
I would actually repurchase them for the WiiMote support as they are both games that could use it well. Metroid 1 & 2 on gamecube would also be great.
They should release a Wii version of the DK Bongos and allow compatibility of the old ones, because without them DK Jungle Beat will be ruined. For example, DK Barrel Blast is an ordinary game, without support for the DK Bongos.
Shouldn't the bongos work on the Wii anyway? I have Donkey Kong: Jungle without the bongos but using just the gamecube controller it is still a fun excellent game. Nintendo might work Motion controls into it though.
