NDS Next DS Revealed?

Either someone went to a lot of trouble to make fake sources and news or details on the new Nintendo DS have been revealed.

A new Nintendo DS model may just have been leaked out, and only before Nintendo's conference they were to hold in October. Japanese websites and newspapers are now confirming this also.

If things do turn out to be true below is a list of things you will find in the Nintendo DS. - Digital Camera - Music Playback - Wireless Connection Function Power Up - Larger Screen - Camera can be made so that it can be used in games - SD Card slot also included to exchange date between Wii & DS

It has also been said this DS will go for 20,000 yen and will be released in Japan next year.

Could this be what Nintendo is holding the conference for next month in October?

  • Larger screens? Odd... There's a good chance something like this could be something completely different than a DS. Like a Nintendo branded cellphone or something. Who knows.

  • Maybe it is to compete with the iPhone & PSP and major Japanese sites and newspapers have confirmed it to be the new DS model.

  • I call: fake.

  • Hmm more confirmations are coming in and surprisingly Nintendo have not denied it, maybe they wanted to announce it at their conference next month.

  • I think it is a fake. The features listed are a recurrent wish-list of DS users. Maybe Nintendo is saving some of that ideas for a new console, a GBA 3 or a DS 2. But a successor for the Nintendo DS isn't happening for the next two years, it is selling too well to be dropped all of a sudden.

  • I'm on the fake side of things although the DS is pretty old in it's life cycle now.

  • Nintendo won't deny the claims now, maybe it won't be a DS but rather something new from Nintendo.
