New Nintendo DS Redesign at E3?
Rumors on a new Nintendo DS redesign scattered throughout the web, so we'll just join in on the bandwagon.
Recent comments by Hirokazu Hamamura, the president of the Japanese magazine publisher Enterbrain, has started a whole range of rumors throughout the internet. What's cooking, one might ask... Well, according to mr Hamamura, Nintendo may announce a new version of the Nintendo DS handheld at this year's E3.
As the speculation goes, Hamamura did not make clear whether he's hinting at a simple redesign of the Nintendo DS, or actually means a whole new dual-screened platform. The latter might seem a little too soon, as the Nintendo DS (Lite) is still selling hotcakes throughout the world.
The first option however, seems more applicable. On the other hand, rumors about a remodeled Nintendo DS already surfaced back in 2007 when the Japanese magazine Gamelabo claimed a Nintendo DS featuring a larger touchscreen, allowing for better touch-screen activity such as text-input.
One thing is for sure, we'll get certainty during this year's E3, July 15-17.

There was a rumor started out years ago by the creator of iQue, and that rumor leads to the creation of DSLite. So I am not suprised if Nintendo decided to remodel DSLite. Just please make the power button inside the lid like NDS, I keep on turning my games off by accident when I put my DSLite into my pocket.
Yeah, I'm one of those guys only playing the DS in bed or on the couch. No problems there ;)
