Rumour: Golden Sun DS

Now here's a new one: Golden Sun DS may be announced within the next hour. First photo's of the presumed title inside.

In our news-submit, we found an interesting piece today. As the story goes, a small Nintendo press gathering was held shortly before E3. It was a chance for Nintendo and a small nest of developers to road test a few of their upcoming games for Wii and DS. These games were not scheduled to be shown at E3 2007 and were not complete by any means.

Some basic game information:You control FelixThe story seems like a continuation of 'The Lost Age' (although I only sampled a very small section)The story and text were the first things completed on the game as the developers wanted a strong storyTouch screen controls (similar to Animal Crossing / Zelda DS)Touch screen psynergypseudo-3D graphics (very similar look to the GBA games however some elements of 3D)

The story was accompanied by a couple of photo's. Usually, we would not jump in on rumours such as these, but one of two pictures does show a leaflet common to Nintendo press gatherings.

We'd like to stress out that rumours are very common to E3 and that Nintendo has not yet made any official statement on the presumed title. In case the above is simply a hoax, we ask all to blame our tipster 'gobo_4227' (and of course praise him if true...).

  I was calling fake until I noticed the piece of paper. It looked so familiar (got quite a few of those here myself from previous Nintendo parties) :/ Not 100% sure of this one...

  It's fake. Look at the bottom screen- recycled art usually means it's been photoshoped. Ah... and I was so excited.

  Look like it has been photoshoped. Notice the text of "2001-2007" of Photo 1, the border of the text overlapped the edge of the top screen. And the pixelation of the game graphic differs from background. Then again, I had never took a photo on my DS Lite, so I don't know how it supposed to look like.

  Yes, as you said ... http://www.goldensun-zone.de/page/bilder/GS-Fake-Vergleich.png I can't 100% say, if it is fake or not. Some things of this screens and news say "It could be real" and some other say "Well, most likely a fake". Let's see, we have to wait ...
