CSI heading to the DS?

While we are not big on publishing rumours here at DS-x2 we can't help ignore both Gamestop and Electronics Boutique and their every expanding 'coming soon' sections. Last month many sites published the fact that the, eagerly awaited, Assassin's Creed made it's way to the DS release section. We asked our man at Ubi Soft if it were indeed true to which he responded 'I can neither confirm nor deny its existence'. We took that to mean 'no comment!'

Another month has passed and now there are two new intriguing titles from the French publisher: CSI Dark Motives and CIS Miami Nights. The difference with these is that we can definitely see these being adapted to the DS format and anyone who has played them of a PC or Mac will be well aware that the technology is already out there in games such as Another Code and Hotel Dusk.

Whether these turn out to be simply vapourware or actual releases remains to be seen but given that Sunday is an incredibly slow news day, it's interesting to speculate'¦ isn't it?
