GAME Saved!
High Street retailer GAME has been saved from extinsion thanks to an 11th Hour rescue from investment capital firm OpCapita. The deal will allow 333 shops to remain trading with some 3,100 jobs secured. Sadly this come a little too late for my freinds in Liverpool who are currently seeking out new employment as both city centre stores will remain closed.

Game Gear Tiles Available on the eShop Now
SEGA have released three original Game Gear tiles on the eShop today with all of them making a welcome return to handheld gaming. Sonic the Hedgehog: Triple Trouble, Shinobi and Dragon Crystal are all now available on the 3DS eshop worldwide giving you the chance to overcome past adversities.

Demos Return to WiiWare
Nintendo have always been less than willing to embrace the concept of the game demo even though gamers clearly enjoy 'trying before buying'. Now, after a lengthy abcense, playable demos of all descriptions have once again become available for all European Wii owners to enjoy. There's 27 in all with everything from FAST - Racing League to Jett Rocket so get downloading now.

Rhythm Thief Delayed in the US
SEGA have announced that Rhythm Thief and The Emperor's Treasure will be delayed in the US until July 10th. The news was broken via their official blog this week although the European release is still set for April 5th which is good for us, for a change.

Epic Mickey 2 For Wii Dated
In even more Epic Mickey 2 news, Warren Spector has confirmed the official European release date for the eagerly awaited Wii title. The announcement was made at Disney Press Event in Paris where attendees were told to expect the game on September 26th. Sadly there was no date given for the 3DS version but we'd expect to see that before the end of 2012.
