European Virtual Console Fridays - 12th January

Well Nintendo of Europe are putting little to no effort for the Virtual Console nowadays, as only one game is released this week - Xevious for the NES.

Lets get sraight to it then shall we? NES Xevious Xevious is a vertical scrolling shooter. This is the NES port of the arcade classic. This game is like your typical shooter fan fare, go forward, blast loads of enemies, meet a big boss at the end and advance to a new scenario. Except in Xevious, there is no end boss at the end of each level. Not much to say about it really, fun if you like this kind of stuff but there are much better alternatives out there on the Virtual Console - see the Turbo Grafx stuff. 500 Wii Points will get you this, though personally I do not reccomend it.
