WII No Wii-Fi Needed

Our colleagues at Computer & Video Games claim that Nintendo will release an Ethernet Kit for the Wii console.

According to our colleagues at CVG, Nintendo will release an Ethernet Kit for Wii, which allows users to connect their console using a standard internet router without wireless support.

For users without any wireless support, this comes as great news, as in the past Nintendo only stated that the Wii console would connect to the Internet using the wireless Wi-Fi interface.

Of course, the USB stick Nintendo released earlier for the Nintendo DS can still be used to connect your Wii to the Internet through the personal computer.
