EA predicts Wii price

David Gardner believes he knows the North American price of the Nintendo Wii.

The executive vice president and COO of EA worldwide studios says that the console will be sold for $170 (approx £90) in North America. "Nintendo has come up with a very clever strategy. They've made a choice which is great for the consumer. Now we're going to have a choice whereby consumers can buy a Wii, plus one other console."

The EA exec said he didn't know what the European price is expected to be. Knowing rip-off Britain though I believe we'll probably be landed with a dollar to pound conversion of one to one meaning £170.
