WII Pangya Golf - New Info

More Revolution information is being released every day! It's only natural of course being extremely close to E3 now. Head inside for some information on Pangya.

IGN Revolution is reporting that in the latest issue of Japanese publication Famitsu, an interview has been conducted with Tecmo's Keisuke Kikuchi - producer of Skatto Golf Pangya Revolution.

In it, Kikuchi has confirmed that (despite the PC versions having major online play), the Revolution version will not. However Kikuchi-san has stated that he wants to include downloadable content in some shape or other. He has also stated that the Revolution version of Pangya Golf should be treated as a brand new game, to set itself apart from the other games in the series.

Tecmo's aim is to deliver a completely new standard in golfing games, specifically focusing on three main areas - the enjoyment of using the freehand controller to act as a golf club during play; creating a more defined world than the PC versions; and aiming to make the game in such a way that players will keep coming back for more, playing in short bursts. The aim is to make the game feel more natural whilst playing, and making the players feel more immersed in the Pangya golfing universe.

Of course, a traditional control method can be used for perfect precision. Many characters, each with their on storylines is one of the main features. Many extras have been announced, following in the footstep of previous Pangya titles.

So far the game has not been announced for a Europe release, but it is confirmed to be a launch title for the Revolution and shon at E3.
