The day is there, December 8... the official releasedate for the Wii console in Europe.

Today's the day for many gamers. The day they'll get their very own Wii system. Although the console has been available at various retailers throughout the past few days, Nintendo's brand new console goes on sale officially today.

A small word of advice to our European readers: the so-called Wii Points can soon be acquired from the Stars Catalogue.

  Bigger numbers on release would have been better, now poeple who work themselves in shops seem to be selling Wii for twice the price at auction sites, trying to make a huge profit at the cost of young kids....
