Nintendo Japan Plans DS Overload
Nintendo of Japan is expecting a great Christmas this year, filled with Wii consoles and Nintendo DS units.
Nintendo of Japan cleared out its plans in front of press agency Reuters. Apart from the 400.000 units of the Wii console for the Japanese launch on December 2, the company is also planning to bring 1.5 million Nintendo DS units in December just for the holiday season.

NDS is quiet cheap for being a video game console, but $150 is truly a bit high for a handheld. On the other hand, I spen $55 to get 3 games (Super Princess Peach, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Deep Labyringh) last month from EB, so I save a lot money purchasing DS games. The same price on any other console can only get you one game (maybe 2 used).
I want a DS price drop. >_>
*agrees with NPC*
One and a half million of consoles for december could not satisfy the high demand in Japan...
pretty soon every japanese person in the world and then some will have a ds. and then where will nintendo sell it?
byt that time the next nintendo handheld will be out and dominating the market.
