  • Looking at the sales numbers make you wonder how much leeway there is for another console(or two) between the PS2 and DS. Even Wii will probably have a hard time selling more than DS in the later weeks of launch. But...who knows...

  • This is the first time that I have seem Animal Crossing leaves the top 10 charts since its release (November 2005). New Super Mario Bros. is still high on the chart.

  • PS3 comes out in japan this coming saturday. 'twill be interesting to see whether its sales will top the software and hardware charts.

  • I will laugh so hard if the DS sales double the PS3 sales in its first week.

  • There will only be 80,000 PS3s for the Japanese launch. It's pretty much a guarantee the DSL will sell more than that. ;)

  • Oh, there's almost no doubt about that. :D

  • Hm, that's really quite sad for Sony then. but do keep in mind, people may not buy a dsl then because they're getting a second morgage for the ps3.
